Innovation and Turnkey Capabilities Win Contract for Professional
Installers, Inc. on St. Louis Metropolitan Police Project.
Approximately 400 employees of The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department will soon be making a major move from their current location at 1200 Clark Avenue, where the SLMPD has been located since 1929, to a newly renovated 143,000 square foot building located at 1915 Olive Street in downtown St.Louis. The move is part of a plan which began in 2010 to relocate most of the essential services provided by the police department.
Professional Installers, Inc. has been awarded the contract to handle the installation services of 400 Haworth workstations. Professional Installers innovation and ability to turnkey the entire project was one of the deciding factors in winning the contract. According to Aubrey Kimberling, Owner of Professional Installers, Inc., “We are very excited to be part of such an historic event within the Police Department. They have been in their existing space for the past 85 years. For all of the employees, moving to this new, modern facility, must very exciting.” The project is expected to be completed in mid-June 2014.
